A big thank you to one and all involved
Guinness World Record holders team
The Guinness World Record holders for the Cricket Marathon 2007

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you out there for making this venture a great success. If I had to mention you all individually I'd be here for evermore, nevertheless im going to try.

First and foremost, the NORTHERN ROCK PLC and Estelle Vasey, whom I thank with all my heart on behalf of myself, Tracy, John, Linda, Julie, Keith and family. Without your guidance help and total support from the outset Estelle this would never have been possible. You're a star.
To the players and officials, I'm so proud of all your efforts, we all endured such terrible weather and your courage and perseverence was admirable.Heartfelt thanks go out to Hylton Castle North Boxing Club, Ellington Colliery Band, Azure Printing, Ray Spoors & his team from Acklington Prison, also the prisoners themselves raised £400! East Chevington Parish Council, Morpeth Borough Council, Hadston Residents Association, Chris Guy and staff, Steph Clark and staff, Sports Therapists, Garden Association, Jolly Girls and Committee and all the kids - well done with the back pack too, Alnwick and Morpeth Harriers, Jacquie Moscrop, Lawrence Carey, Bob Moncur, Brian, Carol and Liam, John Hardy and family, Amble Camera Club, Alnwick Camera Club, Barry Robertson, The Duchess of Northumberland, Alnwick Gardens - Richard Simm -Brian Foggo, Hubb Hire, Martini Entertainments - Paul Shucksmith, Warren Butterworth, Michael Gray, Northumbrian Water, Northumberland County Council, Rapid Reaction, Roadrunner Sports, Trident Soccer, Cheeky Monkeys, Dunelm Homes, Miller Homes, UK Coal, Puffapouch, Just Sports, Steve Harmison, Glen McCrory, Stephen Lunn, Paddy Costello and family, Paul Brennan, MKM, all that fed and watered us over the 2 days and of course Asthma UK.

If by any chance I've forgot someone no doubt I will be reminded but for now thats all I can think of. May 2008 brings new challenges, and I wish the 2 teams down in Kent all the best in their record attempt.
Anyway lets all keep in touch, any new and fresh ideas on how to make it more bearable will be more than welcome.
Thanks so much for all your help and input.
Respect for you all.
Alan Mackenzie.
